Brian Smith RI is an award winning watercolour Artist

I am a professional Artist specialising in Watercolour my paintings have exhibited at Open Exhibitions internationally gaining numerous awards from the RI, RWS, RWA and RSMA Art Societies.

I tutor Watercolour and Acrylic at West Dean College along with tutoring small groups from my studio in Malmesbury.

I also have extensive experience running workshops and demonstration evenings for Art Societies all over the UK.

ARTICLES

Over the years i have written instuructional articles for THE ARTIST, LEISURE PAINTER and SAA magazine. I have been fortunate enough to have feature articles about my working process in THE INTERNATIONAL ARTIST, THE ARTIST and THE ART OF WATERCOLOUR magazine. These have been from 7-9 pages which has enabled my work to be seen by an international audience for which i am eternally grateful.
